Ways to avoid your thread being deleted or locked and how to avoid being banned:
1. DO NOT post expletives.
2. DO NOT post irrelevant topics. It's General Chat, but do not post random irrelevant threads just for the sake of posting them.
3. Malicious remarks in the form of Racism, Sexism, Homophobia, etc. will not be tolerated. Any comment or remark in a post, user profile or signature that is used to offend, degrade or provoke another user in the above, or any other way is forbidden.
4. DO NOT post pornographic or indecent images.
5. DO NOT post threads which should be private messages (e.g. FAO Jo Blogs type threads)
6. DO NOT post threads asking "Why has my thread been deleted?" or similar. If you really don't know why then PM a moderator. We do not have the time to explain every decision we make.
7. DO NOT start your thread with a post like "How much....." and then post "...does [insert product name here] cost? For quicker replies, simplify your thread title to include your query. Make your thread title descriptive - threads titled "Heeeeelllppp Plleeaase!!!!!!" are often overlooked. This also helps when using the search utility.
8. DO NOT allow any other forum user to post under your username, if you get caught both usernames will be banned.
9. DO NOT bump old threads from months ago just for the sake of bumping them. It's annoying and pointless. If you have a relevant query for the thread then that's fine.
10. Text speak is frowned upon on this forum, posts are not limited to 160 characters. Your posts will be considered as more intelligent "wn u dnt tawk lik dis, innit?".
11. DO NOT create threads asking why certain members have been banned or when they are being unbanned - use the PM system or email. Threads of that nature will be locked and deleted.
12. DO NOT post links for your own referral schemes or anything else that is considered as worthless spam
13. Signature and avatar sizes should be of appropriate filesize and dimensions. Unsuitably sized images will be removed.
14. Do NOT promote illegal downloading/sharing of material:
